THE OPPORTUNITY

Karlan Capital Consulting is seeking a senior, revenue-driven Independent Field Representative to expand our footprint across investment groups, general contractors, and mechanical contractors nationwide. This role is built for a true hunter—someone who knows the construction market, has existing relationships, and can open doors at the executive level.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You are assertive, self-directed, and comfortable operating independently. You understand the full construction lifecycle—from early design and preconstruction through execution and turnover—particularly within mission-critical and data center environments. You already have a book of business and are motivated by uncapped commission and upside.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

– Prospect, develop, and close opportunities with investment groups, GCs, and mechanical contractors
– Influence procurement decisions during design, preconstruction, and GMP phases
– Leverage existing relationships to generate immediate pipeline
– Represent Karlan Capital’s national procurement and sourcing solutions
– Operate autonomously while aligning with company strategy

COMPENSATION & UPSIDE

– 1099 independent contractor role
– Very aggressive, uncapped commission structure
– Annual performance-based bonus opportunity
– With an existing book of business, earnings in excess of $200,000 annually are achievable

NON-COMPETE & CONFLICT EXPECTATIONS

Independent representatives will be required to agree to reasonable non-compete and non-circumvention provisions. These provisions are intended to protect Karlan Capital’s vendor partnerships, client relationships, and proprietary procurement models. Specific terms will be defined in the Independent Contractor Agreement.
